Certificate II Introduction to Disability Care – 52840WA
The aim of the Certificate II in Disability Care is to provide learners with basic industry specific skills and knowledge to either enable transition into a traineeship with in the Community Services sector at the Certificate III level or provide them with basic industry specific skills and knowledge for working in the Disability sector.
Course Outline
- CHCCCS015 Provide Individualised Support
- CHCCOM005 Communicate and work in health or community services
- CHCDIS007 Facilitate the empowerment of people with disability
- CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people
- HLTWHS001 Participate in workplace health and safety
- HLTWHS005 Conduct Manual Handling tasks safely
- HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support
$1040 full fee or $310.40 Concession
- 12 week course delivered in Mandurah
- Wednesday/Thursday/Friday classroom sessions
- 100 hours of Vocational Placement
- Includes National Police Check and First Aid certificate
- Potential Students will need to undertake an industry interview prior to enrolment
- Maximum of 12 participants per class
