The CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services is one of the most popular entry points into Queensland's community sector — and in 2026 it remains a Skills Assure subsidised qualification at Aspire to Succeed (RTO 32555). This guide breaks down who qualifies, how funding works, and how to enrol without overpaying.
Why CHC32015 is on the 2026 Skills Assure list
Queensland's Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT) prioritises qualifications that lead to high-demand jobs. Community services workers continue to top that list thanks to growth in homelessness, family support, mental health and youth services. As a result, CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services remains funded under Skills Assure throughout 2026.
Who can access CHC32015 funding in Queensland?
You'll generally qualify if you:
- Are 15 or older and no longer at school
- Live or work in Queensland
- Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible visa holder
- Don't already hold a Cert III or higher (with Career Boost exceptions)
Funding is delivered through two recognised streams that align with the state's Career Start (first post-school qualification) and Career Boost (upskilling) initiatives. Our enrolment team confirms which applies in your case.
Two fee pathways: General vs Apprenticeship
Like other Skills Assure qualifications, CHC32015 is funded under either:
- General (non-apprenticeship) pathway — for most adult learners
- User Choice / Apprenticeship pathway — for students employed in a formal traineeship arrangement
Each has its own student contribution amount. The current 2026 figures and concession rates are kept live on our Skills Assure funding page so you always see the right number.
Concessions and reduced fees
Concession pricing applies if you hold a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, DVA Gold Card, identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or have a recognised disability. The concession rate is significantly lower than the standard student contribution.
