HLTWHS005 – Conduct Manual Tasks Safely is a nationally recognised unit of competency designed to equip individuals with the essential skills and knowledge to safely identify, assess, and perform manual tasks in a variety of workplace settings.

Participants will learn how to:
- Recognise potentially hazardous manual tasks

- Implement safe manual handling techniques
- Use mechanical aids and equipment properly
This training meets the Work Health and Safety (WHS) obligations for the DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs).
Course Structure:
- Theory: Online – must be completed prior to course attendance
- Practical: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM – hands-on training using real equipment and scenarios
- Maximum class size: 10 participants
