Diploma of Community Services
The CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services is a nationally recognised diploma-level qualification for experienced community services workers ready to step into case management, program coordination, supervision and team leadership. Available Distance/Online Australia-wide, it equips you to work autonomously within your scope of practice while receiving broad direction from senior management.
You'll build advanced skills in case management, crisis response, sociological analysis, legal and ethical compliance, debriefing and supervision, and reflective professional practice. Elective units let you focus on areas like mental health, trauma-informed care, suicide prevention and self-advocacy.
Graduates of the CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services lead programs and teams across not-for-profits, NDIS-registered providers, government agencies, family and youth services, housing, mental health and disability services. Roles include Case Coordinator, Community Services Coordinator, Team Leader, Community Care Manager and Program Coordinator.
Delivered Distance/Online (self-directed) Australia-wide. To complete the qualification, students must complete 100 hours of vocational placement applicable to the unit requirements.
