Certificate III in Community Services is a nationally recognised qualification that provides the skills and knowledge required to work as a community services worker.

At this level, work takes position under others’ direction, and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take a position in a range of community services organisations.

  • CHCCCS003 – Increase the safety of individuals at risk of suicide
  • CHCCCS019 – Recognise and respond to crisis situations
  • CHCDFV001 – Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence.

Fees & Charges

QLD Funded Program – Career Start 

Career Start has commenced in QLD from 01st July 2025.

  • $24 Full Fee ($2 per unit)
  • $12 Concession/ Priority Population Group ($1 per unit)

Full Fee

  • $1200 Full Fee ($100 Per Unit)

Payment Plans are available. All fees must be paid in full before your certificate is issued.

 

RPL (Recognised Prior Learning)

  • $50 per unit
  • Full course RPL is not available for funded programs.

Delivery Modes – we offer the following delivery modes for this course:

  • Face to Face (locations above)
  • Blended – You can complete this course in a blended model, whereby you can attend a mix of face to face and online learning.
  • Distance/Online – You can complete this course in a self-directed model.  You will have contact with your trainer via email, telephone and Zoom.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DISTANCE STUDENTS

  • If you do choose the distance/online delivery model, you will need access to a laptop, internet, Microsoft Word (this excludes Open Office and Mac Pages) and PDF (Adobe Acrobat) software.
  • Mobile Phones and Tablets are not recommended options to complete the assessments.  If you elect to complete it on a tablet or mobile phone, you will need to have Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat installed on the device. (This excludes Open Office and Mac Pages)
  • You will have access to your learning and assessment materials electronically via our Learner Management System (aXcelerate).
  • Should you require hard copy books to complete your course, these can be printed at a fee of $20 per book. Payment for books is required prior to posting.
