The CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is a nationally recognised qualification that will provide you with the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of leisure and health settings.

The CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health will teach you how to plan, implement and evaluate leisure and health programs. This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation, and evaluation of leisure, health activities, and programs for clients in one or more sector areas.

Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health.  While workers are responsible for their own outputs, work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision within defined organisation guidelines.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as a lifestyle or activity assistant.

QLD Funded Program – Career Boost 

Career Boost has commenced in QLD from 01st July 2025.

  • $68 Full Fee ($4 per unit)

    Delivery of the course:

    • Face-to-Face Classes – We offer face-to-face classes in the following locations: Caboolture.
    • Distance/Self-Directed – You can complete this course in a self-directed model.  You will have contact with your trainer via email, telephone and Zoom.

    Workplace Assessment – 120 Hours

    • Workplace assessment is required for this course

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR DISTANCE STUDENTS

    • If you do choose the distance delivery model, you will need access to a laptop, internet, Microsoft Word (this excludes Open Office and Mac Pages) and PDF software.
    • Mobile Phones and Tablets are not recommended options to complete the assessments.  If you elect to complete it on a tablet or mobile phone, you will need to have Microsoft Word installed on the device. (This excludes Open Office and Mac Pages)
    • You will have access to your learning and assessment materials electronically via our Learner Management System (aXcelerate).
    • Should you require hard copy books to complete your course, these are available at a fee of $20 per book. Payment for all hard copy books relevant to your course will be invoiced at the time of enrolment. Payment for books is required prior to posting.
