CHC33021 Overview
Certificate III in Individual Support
The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support is your nationally recognised pathway into Australia's fastest-growing industry. Health Care and Social Assistance is projected to need an additional 55,000 individual support workers by 2025, with strong, ongoing demand across aged care, disability and community settings in Queensland.
As a qualified Individual Support Worker, you'll deliver person-centred care to people in their own homes, in the community, and in residential aged care or disability facilities. You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, following individualised support plans and supervising your own work within your scope of practice.
This course builds the practical skills, technical knowledge and confidence employers expect — from personal care and manual handling to communication, infection control, and supporting clients living with dementia, disability or mental health conditions.
Delivered face-to-face and blended at our Caboolture, Kingaroy and Chinchilla campuses, the qualification includes simulated skills assessments and 120 hours of vocational placement so you graduate job-ready and confident on day one.
